This car could be systematic, hydromatic, ultramatic – why couldn’t it be Greased Lightnin’?! Well, it could actually. In perhaps the most famous scene from the classic movie musical, this battered 1948 Ford Deluxe is transformed into ‘Greased Lightning’ after a major makeover from those crazy T-birds.
You’ll also remember that the car also takes centre stage when Danny Zuko (John Travolta) drives it to victory in a drag race against rival gang the Scorpions.
