Netflix is life changing.
The streaming service has changed the way we view TV, when we watch TV and how much TV we watch binge on.
It’s magnificent but it does get to the point where it feels like you’ve seen everything worth watching. Sure, there’s a massive array of worldwide titles, but maybe sometimes it’d be nice to watch something more home grown.
The Irish film industry is booming and we have some spectacular titles to thank our native filmmakers for. It seems the EU also sees the value in our unique content and has enforced a ruling that all streaming services must included 20% local content.
