The Force Will Be With Us! Star Wars Episode VII Due To Film Some Scenes In Ireland

To be entirely honest, we were excited enough about the prospect of Star Wars filming just across the water in the UK but now we have lost control of ourselves a little; Episode VII is due to film here in our fair land. According to the Irish Examiner, part of the new movie will be filmed on the Skelligs in Co. Kerry. Kerry's Eye is reporting that the Officer of Public Works gave the go-ahead to film on the World Heritage and the island is due to be a major filming location for the upcoming film. Unfortunately, due to the general lockdown on the Abrams set we don't have the exact details of what scenes will be shot on the island but if it is a major location, we can imagine it will be some pretty big scenes.
