The Simpsons Will Never Be The Same Again As Key Cast Member Announces Departure

This is a major blow for the show.  We’ve been on a high since last week when it was announced that The Simpsons has been commissioned for another two seasons. However, there was some bad news this week as Harry Shearer announced that he will no longer be part of the longest running animated series in TV history. Shearer, who is the voice of Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner and Ned Flanders, to name but a few, broke the news on Twitter on Wednesday and hinted that there were some contract difficulties for the upcoming seasons.
