He's set to headline at Croke Park over the weekend but Ed Sheeran will reportedly play a secret gig at Whelan's tonight.
Rumours abound this afternoon that the
Thinking Out Loud star will return to his favourite Wexford Street venue to play an intimate VIP show.
According to
The Irish Sun, the singer will appear on stage at around 7pm and will be accompanied by Jamie Lawson, who is Sheeran's support act on Saturday night.

The 24-year-old previously played at Whelan's in January as part of the VH1 Storytellers series, after he revealed that a Damien Rice gig at the famous music haunt inspired him to pursue a career in music.
Sheeran was this week nominated for six awards at the MTV Video Music Awards for his tracks
Thinking Out Loud and
Don't.
