It’s not known as Fundoran for nothing.
Last weekend we joined 5,000 other festival goers and headed to Sea Sessions Surf & Music Festival for a weekend of sun, sea, surf and awesome music.
Sitting pretty on the Wild Atlantic Way, the Sea Sessions arena overlooks the picturesque beach in Bundoran. It’s hard to imagine a more stunning location for a summer festival.
And it’s not only the gorgeous setting that sets Sea Sessions apart from other Irish festivals, it’s the constant stream of activities throughout the day before the live music even begins. From tag rugby, volleyball and skating along the board-walk, to the surfing Championship running alongside the festival, there was a festival atmosphere that was hard to beat. Le Galaxie, Seasick Steve, Example and DJ Wire, The Academic, Jape were just some of the fantastic acts we caught on stage.
