Breaking News: Man Behind Paris Attacks Abdelhamid Abaaoud Confirmed Dead

Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the 'mastermind' believed to be behind the attacks in Paris on November 13^th, is dead. The man who orchestrated the multiple terrorist attacks in the French capital has was shot and killed by police during a massive raid on a Saint-Denis apartment in north Paris yesterday morning. There are further reports that a second person was killed during the raid – a woman wearing an explosive vest, which she apparently used to blow herself up. Eight other people were arrested during yesterday morning’s operation. RTÉ confirmed the news just minutes ago with a series of tweets from Europe Editor Tony Connelly:

While no police suffered casualties, an explosives dog named Diesel was killed during the stand-off. Addressing a press conference yesterday evening, Paris public prosecutor, François Molins confirmed that eight people were arrested after the Saint-Denis raids, and at least two suspects killed.
