Former Kerry footballer Patrick Curtin has passed away.
The 26-year-old had been living in Guatemala and was injured in an accident at work, just before Christmas.
He was then airlifted to a hospital in Miami where he passed away earlier today.
The news was confirmed on the
Kerry GAA website today with the organisation extending their sympathies to Patrick's family, friends and his former club, Moyvane.
JOE.ie reports that Patrick represented Kerry football at minor, under-21, Junior and Senior Level.
He made ten league and six Championship appearances for the Kerry senior football team, whom he last represented in 2013 against Cavan in Croke Park.
