
Gardaí have asked for the public’s help in investigating a sex assault on a woman in her late 30s, which occurred last Saturday.
The attack occurred at Capenterstown Park, known locally as Tír Na nÓg Park, Diswellstown Road, Dublin 15 at roughly 7.30am last Saturday October, 18th as she was out walking.
The suspect has been described as being a Caucasian in his late 20s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches in height, with straight brown hair short at the back and longer in the front. He also wore braces on his teeth.
He also spoke good English with a foreign accent, and was wearing a grey hooded top and dirty beige trousers at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information, particularly those who were in the vicinity of Carpenterstown Park last Saturday between 6.45am and 7.45am, is urged to contact Blanchardstown Garda station on (01) 666 7000, the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111 or any other station.
Anyone who may have noticed any activity in Carpenterstown Park over the last few weeks is also asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda station.
