A Facebook message in response to a post by Cork's 96FM.
The group were said to have later been asked to leave the bar due to their behaviour and speaking on The John Murray Show on RTÉ on Friday morning Mr Haughton stated that they had “let themselves down, let their families down, and let Ireland down”.
He also revealed that he will be hiring a security guard for the weekends at his bar
He later featured on Cork's 96FM where he was joined on air by the future father-in-law of the groom who stated: “I can’t speak for these guys.
"They are boisterous... but if they did do that, someone would turn around and say ‘Lads kop yourselves on’… and they’d calm down then.
"There’s no malice in them, there’s no harm in them, they were away for a good time. But you can’t control all of the people," he added, stating that he wasn't on the stag party.
The group are said to be from Cork.
"I’m ringing on behalf of my future son-in-law and my daughter. He’s not like that, he’s lovely and he’s quiet," he finished.
Meanwhile, Mr Haughton added, “We’re always glad to see them [Irish]… Sometimes you get people you’re not too proud of.”
A man who was on the stag, Gerard, later told Cork’s 96FM that it was for harmless fun.
“It was only one mask," he stated. "About six or seven of us arrived back up to the square, I started a sing song straight away.
"The mask came out but it resembled one of the lads that was with us, that’s why the mask was bought. It was worn for a few minutes and then we realized ourselves the seriousness of it. We said ourselves to take it off and put it away.
"The mask was bought as a joke," he added. "What he said about the bar staff and being abused… the overall group that was there there was nothing like that… there was a fine group of lads there."
The stag took place in Prague.
"I was furious when I heard that today. One mask was worn, it was taken off - it’s been blown out of proportion. They’re a fine bunch of lads.
"There was one mask, there were no armbands, or Hitler gestures. It was a joke that got out of hand. I’m amazed about it all.
"We had a fantastic sing song, there might have been one or two out of order but the rest of us had a great day," he continued. "They bought the mask down the road in a shop in Prague. The mask does look like him [one of the stags].
"They didn’t realize the history [of the mask]. Nothing happened, we got up and walked away… saying they were going to call the police, no. It has been blown out of proportion altogether."
