Magician Paul Daniels has passed away.
The 77-year-old was diagnosed with a brain tumour in February and last week, he left hospital to spend his final days at home with family.
Popular entertainer Daniels fronted
The Paul Daniels Magic Show on BBC from 1974 to 1994.
Paul married his long-time assistant Debbie McGee in 1988 and after retiring from TV, the couple travelled the UK with magic and comedy shows.
According to
The Independent, a statement released by Paul's family this morning read: "Debbie and the family would like to thank everyone for their support and asks that their privacy be respected at this sad time".
