Initial reports suggested police were looking for three shooters but it is now believed that the man in question was acting alone. According to Reuters, the shooter has been identified as an 18-year-old German-Iranian. It is believed that he was born and brought up in Germany and shouted "I'm German" before opening fire and shooting civilians. Police are currently trying to establish the motive behind the attack while also finding out how he obtained a gun as Germany has a very rigorous policy on gun control. It is believed that three of the victims were of Kosovan nationality. A further 16 people are in hospital and three are said to be in critical condition. After meeting with officials, Chancellor Angela Merkel is due to make a statement on the horrific shooting later today.More tragedy strikes https://t.co/yJomxBDWTg
