A series of low quality snippets of Lady Gaga’s eagerly awaited new track ‘Applause’ have been leaked on line.

The single, which is not due out until the 19th August, has found it’s way on to the Internet and the singer is less than impressed with it all.
Issuing a 911 emergency, Gaga asked all fans to help her and her ‘ Haus Bureau’ get the leaked material removed.

Thousands of fans, known as Monsters, were outraged at the thought that someone was jeopardizing Mother Monster’s work, and began an anti-piracy campaign to report any sites providing the leaked material to a portal set up by the singer’s producers, Universal Records.
Gaga was initially upset by news of the leak yesterday and began her series of tweets with, "Lord, in HEAVEN WHY" and "YOU JUST COULDNT WAIT THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ONE SATURDAY."
Gaga isn't the only singer who has had material leaked online, Kanye West and Katy Perry have been recent victims of hackers. Gaga even tagged Katy in a tweet, asking the fellow singer if she would like to "grab some shovels and fuck up some hackers".

We’re sure this must be pretty infuriating for any artist, but it does have us talking about Gaga’s new music… as the saying goes, any publicity is good publicity after all.
