The annual Inside Soap Awards took place last night and Eastenders won big at the ceremony, taking home four awards.
Although Hollyoaks was nominated in 15 categories by readers of Inside Soap magazine, it was Eastenders who received the award for best soap.
Danny Dyer, who plays Mick Carter in the East End soap, was awarded best actor while Nikki Sanderson, Maxine in Hollyoaks, won the best actress award.
As well as the awards, we were interested to see what the stars wore and black was definitely a popular option with Kellie Bright (Linda Carter) and Verity Rushworth (Donna Windsor) opting for the same colour in different styles.
The boys were also looking very slick, with Marc Baylis (Rob in Coronation Street), Danny Mac (Dodger in Hollyoaks), Ben Hardy and Jamie Borthwick (Peter and Jay in Eastenders) all looking very dapper indeed.
