According to Vanity Fair, the Pretty Woman actress arrived at the event wearing heels which meant she evaded any problems with the dress code.
However, once she was there, the 48-year-old removed her shoes to walk into the venue where the event was on and happily posed for photos along the way.
Earlier this week, Susan Sarandon also flouted the 'heels rule' when she wore black flats to the Cafe Society premiere.
This isn't the first time Hollywood actresses have expressed their outrage at the outdated dress code with Emily Blunt speaking out it about last year:
"Everyone should wear flats, to be honest. We shouldn’t wear high heels. That’s very disappointing, just when you kind of think there are these new waves of equality".
