Victoria Beckham Criticised For New York Fashion Week Show

Victoria Beckham showed her spring summer 2016 collection on Sunday and although it received positive feedback from fashion critics, the former Spice Girl has been criticised online. After posting behind-the-scenes photos of some of the models in the show, Instagram users posted negative comments.

One user wrote: "How can you promote skeletons! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS AND DISGUSTING. "You should be ashamed of your OWN BODY ISSUES that you are now protruding onto society. GET A GRIP MATE".

Another commented: "Looks horrible those poor girls need food". Much of the criticism was directed at 17-year-old Peyton Knight who has been described as a "skeleton" by some online users. However, Victoria took to her Instagram page to personally thank the teenager for closing her show.

However, not everyone had the same view with another person writing: "It takes all sizes to make a world. A persons weight is nobody else's business."
