But we were very surprised at just how much women’s swimwear has changed in the last 100 years or so.
In this video, Amanda Cerni models and dances her way through history, showing us the evolution of the bikini from the modest 1890s to the sexually-liberated 1960s and all the way through to the bikini we know today.
One thing’s for sure, the swimwear they wore in 1980 was NOT itsy-bitsy or teenie weenie.
