Who doesn't love a good bargain?
We do, we love a good bargain and we know you do too.
With almost every retailer in the country investing in their beauty departments, the dupe game has well and truly been perfected.
We love to splurge on makeup and skincare products but if you're feeling the pinch, not to worry. We've listed the best dupes on the market that are just as good, if not better, than the more expensive originals.
1. PS... Instant Bronzing Drops
Penneys has been a game changer when it comes to releasing quality dupes over the last couple of months.
Everything from makeup and skincare to beauty accessories and gadgets – they really understood the assignment.
The Instant Bronzing Drops from Penneys has circled TikTok if not once, maybe one million times and the hype is well deserved.
It's a copy of the luxe Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops that are on sale for close to €40.
The more affordable alternative still delivers the perfect summer shimmer at at just €3.50 it's an absolute steal!
2. Lacura Vitabase Primer
You are not ready for how impressive this product is.
It's a dupe for the popular Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base and although there are slight differences between the two, it is definitely worth picking up.
The famous Bobbi Brown product is loved because it moisturises our skin for smooth makeup application while hydrating and nourishing the skin.
However, this Aldi dupe is a strong contester and one I personally love. It's also a tenth of the Bobbi Brown price at just €5.99.
It's a tad bit more yellow in appearance and smells slightly more floral but otherwise, you wouldn't know the difference.
Just like the designer original, the good aul Aldi version gives that flawless dewy result that makes for a perfect makeup base.
3. The Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil dupes slay
There are no words to describe how beautiful this product is, however, it's expensive.
We love a cheaper alternative that can give us the same results and the following dupes do just that – ideal.
Many retailers have released dupes for the Dior lip oils but the Vitamin Lip Oil range from Penneys has been a huge hit.
The dupe's applicator is slightly thinner and the packaging is obviously quite different but the quality of the lip oil it self is impressive.
A Dior lip oil would set you back over €40 whereas you'd pocket the Penneys dupe for just €3.
Another lip oil worth mentioning is the Clarins Lip Comfort Oil.
There are ten different shades available and every one of them look stunning on the lip.
It's giving us Sexy Summer Shimmer and that's all we want isn't it?
4. Dyson Airwrap minus the price
This has absolutely changed the lives of many Irish beauty fanatics, including myself.
It's a dupe for the amazing Dyson Airwrap but it's just €13.99 in Lidl. The Dyson Airwrap became a big deal when it launched back in 2018 but its hefty price tag means it's not exactly accessible to everyone.
However, the Lidl dupe is and with multiple changeable heads, I would personally say it's a must-have.
It's called the Silvercrest Multi-Function Hot Air Styler and judging from all the TikTok creators trying it out, it creates the perfect sleek curls.
