Irish model breaks down on Instagram as she’s made walk the runway in mesh contacts

It's not easy.

Denise Curtin

It’s not an easy job.

Although walking in fashion shows and traveling all around the world to work for major labels may look like the dream job, like many professions, it’s a lot harder than it appears.

And one person who’s well aware of this is Derry model, Tabea Weyraunch. The model who’s signed to Distinct Model Management in Ireland and managed by over five other agencies globally, first got her big break five years ago when she won RTÉ’s Model Scouts; a series which searched the country for the next top model.

Since then, she’s gone from strength to strength in her career, walking for massive brands like Calvin Klein, Anya Hindmarch and Oscar de la Renta.

And although Tabea obviously adores her job, she isn’t afraid to show that it’s not all glamour as yesterday, she took to her Instagram to share a video crying during Irene Luft’s show at Berlin Fashion Week. It’s reported that Tabea was made wear mesh eye contacts as part of her look for the show and it’s clear they weren’t a comfortable experience.

But, noting that the show must go on, Tabea took to the runway with professionalism and looked both haunting and incredible.
