Mr Lunney was attacked and abducted on September 17th, on his way to work.

He was later found on the side of a road in County Cavan, having sustained significant injuries.

Having taken some time to recover, Mr Lunney did an interview with BBC Spotlight this month, where he opened up about his ordeal.

He said his leg was broken by his captors, and also said that we was branded and doused with bleach.

Unthinkable.

Earlier this month two men and a woman were arrested as part of the investigation, but they were released without charge.
