For a while there, the brow craze had reached new proportions with big, bold HD brows becoming the order of the day.
However, for 2017, brows are paring back and it’s all about the “full, and natural” look.
While this will come as good news to many, die-hard ‘strong’ eyebrow enthusiasts won’t be too impressed.
However, if Sania Vucetaj, who has been described as New York’s eyebrow expert, says so, I’m taking it as gospel.
In conversation with Bustle, Sania explained why brows are going back to basics.
She doesn’t advocate following trends because brow hair can take years to repair so she advises experimenting with makeup instead as this “can be washed off”.
Sania has always been a fan of a “fuller brow” and says no one ever regrets the “natural” look.
This brow guru has one warning when it comes to brow maintenance, remember there’s a difference between “heavy and full”.
The number one tip is to “remember that brows should always frame the eyes and face”.
