Cloud cream is a new type of moisturiser that's selling out everywhere (there's one particular brand that Sephora can't keep in stock) because of its ultra-hydrating properties. If you're anything like the Her gals, you'll be intrigued by the concept of cloud cream which was given its name because of how our skin holds water, similar to the way a cloud is filled with vapour. Aaaaaaah. Cloud creams are packed with hyaluronic acid, (which isn't actually an acid but a type of sugar molecule FYI), an ingredient which smoothes, plumps and hydrates the skin. As our skin ages, we lose our ability to retain moisture and hyaluronic acid which is where the luxurious, uber-moisturising cloud cream comes in. It replaces the moisture lost and also gives an added boost of hydration which is why it's no major surprise that Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream keeps selling out at Sephora.
