First-class Emirates flyers are about to enjoy an insane new beauty perk

Katie Mythen-Lynch

There was a time when the average high-flying first-class passenger was content with a glass of bubbly, a hot towel and a silk eye mask.

These days however, the proliferation of first-class providers means that airlines are doing more and more to attract the most affluent customers, not least Dubai-based Emirates, who are pulling out all the stops to appeal to passengers who appreciate the finer things in life.

From now on, passengers on Emirates overnight flights will be gifted a pair of moisturing pyjamas.

Not content with stocking their Airbus spa showers with VOYA skincare products and Bulgari amenity kits, the fancy high-tech Emirates PJs boast “hydra active microcapsule technology,” designed to slowly release sea kelp extract, keeping skin fully hydrated while you’re in the sky.

Simply pop on your free jim-jams before you start your in-flight movie marathon (there’s even a pair of matching slippers) and luxuriate in comfort, safe in the knowledge that your skin is protected from the ravages of modern travel.

Well worth the €6k cost cost of a return ticket from Dublin to Dubai, right?
