The foundation stick that sells every minute worldwide

A 'handbag hero'.

Cathy Donohue

As a teenager, Bobbi Brown’s Foundation Stick was one of my first ever makeup discoveries and I’ve kept coming back to it since then.

I like to think of it as a ‘handbag hero’ as it’s the type of product you can carry around with you for touch-ups on the go, essential in this warm, sticky weather when your foundation just melts off.

This little tube (€37.50-€38) helps to reduce shine, even through sweat and humidity, and that is almost reason enough to have us stocking up.

It has stellar reviews too with fans saying it’s long-wearing, evens out skin tone, and leaves skin feeling moisturised while somehow controlling shine at the same time.

As someone with a mix of combination to oily skin who prefers light as opposed to heavy coverage, I like to use this in between foundation applications, rather than as a base but it works equally well for both.

Having reached out to the ladies who look after Bobbi Brown, I found out that one foundation stick sells every minute globally which goes to show just how much of a ‘cult’ product it has become over time.

This isn’t the first best-seller we’ve come across either, the Original Bare Minerals foundation is SO popular as is Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and let’s not forget Avéne Eau Thermale Water.
