The beauty industry moves VERY quickly and there’s always a new trend or look to get to grips with.
Last week, the ‘bubble shape’ was making headlines and this week, it’s all about ‘aquarium nails’.
The new trend basically means filling a hollow acrylic nail with glitter, baby oil, sparkles and beads and if you want, you can add Disney favourites, fruit and other fun kitsch options.
The effect is like that of a mini snow globe as when you move your nail, the liquid moves with it, bizarre but brilliant.
Bustle reports that the trend started with Tony’s Nails in Wichita Texas and now Tony Ly has almost 80,000 followers with people obsessing over snow globe vibes.
Instagram is huge for nail art and ‘aquarium nails’ are starting to appear on the social media site.
