So we’re always willing to try any tips and tricks on making highlighter even more effective on the skin.
Actress Zendaya seems to always have glowing cheekbones at events and often posts images of her perfect makeup on Instagram which makes us very jealous.

Luckily, Zendaya has kindly shared her secret to the perfect highlight with us all.
The actress posted her secret on her blog and thankfully it’s very easy and a total bargain.
She uses drugstore skin balm Aquaphor.
”I dab Aquaphor where I want my highlight to be, then I put my highlighter on top and boom!”
You can buy the balm in Ireland in shops such as Boots and it costs around €10.

So simply dab some on your cheekbones and the areas you want to highlight, and apply highlighter on top. We’re guessing the balm acts as a strong base for the highlighter to sit on, helping it stand out.
We haven’t tried it yet, but we definitely will after seeing the video below.
