Bono Has Suggested America Deploy Comedians To Tackle ISIS

Bono is a man with a lot of things to say. The U2 singer was speaking to a Senate subcommittee on Tuesday, discussing topics from the refugee crisis, to the events in the Middle East in a more general sense. As the conversation turned towards terrorist threat Islamic State, or ISIS, Bono had an... interesting suggestion for how to tackle the Islamist group. “Don’t laugh. I think comedy should be deployed. It’s like, you speak violence, you speak their language. But you laugh at them, when they’re goose-stepping down the street, and it takes away their power. So, I’m suggesting that the Senate send in Amy Schumer, and Chris Rock, and Sacha Baron Cohen, thank you.”
