Ex On The Beach star found guilty of posting revenge porn on social media

Kurtis Hartman has been found guilty after posting a sexual image of his ex-girlfriend on social media.

The star who appeared in the 8th season of the popular MTV show which finished up last week could now face up to two years in prison.

The reality star appeared at his hearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Tuesday (May 15) where he claimed that he did not post the image himself, claiming that it was his housemate while he was at the gym. The image remained on his Twitter account which has over 3,000 followers for two hours before being deleted.

According to the DailyMail, the image emerged after the couple had a public spat on the social media platform, soon after Kurtis' ex Sabrina Farhan called him a "drug dealer".

Sabrina, who is hoping to become an actress said that the image could of "ruined her career" and she was extremely upset and hurt that the private photograph was leaked.

Speaking in court on Tuesday, Farhan said:

I was immediately shocked. I was just gob-smacked that he had done it. I started thinking about all the consequences this was going to have. I was just so angry.

Considering I want to be an actress, I could not get a job. I have not told my agent. If anyone else told them they would probably drop me. I just couldn't do my chosen career.

Hartman will be sentenced next week when a maximum of up to two years in prison may be imposed.
