Tell us one surprising thing about you.

I have mild dyslexia; my writing with a pen is deplorable.

What is the most embarrassing thing that you’ve ever done?

Congratulated a friend who I had not seen for some time on being pregnant when they were not.

If you could delete someone’s entire existence, who would it be?

Andre Rieu. I wince every time I see him on the television.

Which trait do you most love and hate about yourself?

I like the fact that I don’t take myself too seriously and hate being too pernickety.

Who would be your four perfect dinner party guests?

Tony Bennett, Robert Di Niro, Henry Shefflin and Brian Cody.

What’s the worst chat-up line that you’ve ever used?

Never used them, my usual opener was ‘fancy a drink?’.

What is your favourite biscuit and why?

Rich Tea. It’s hard to beat two of them glued together with real butter.

Which Irish celebrity do you secretly fancy?

Angeline Ball.

If you could live in any era, which one would you choose and why?

It’s got to be the 1930s for style and panache.

Dogs or cats?

Neither.

If you were to take the Her.ie team for dinner, where would we go?

Kites, Ballsbridge.
