Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her first baby with husband Cooke Maroney

She's pregnant.

A huge congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lawrence, who is expecting her first baby. The Oscar-winning actress is pregnant with her first child with her husband Cooke Maroney, it has been confirmed. The 31 year old's representative confirmed the happy news to People, nearly two years after the couple got married. Jennifer was first rumoured to be dating the art dealer back in June of 2018 and the pair were engaged by the following February. When October 2019 rolled around, the pair held a star-studded wedding for 150 of their closest friends and family, with the likes of Kris Jenner and Adele nabbing an invite. After two years, the couple will soon be welcoming their first baby, but when that will be is currently unknown. Jennifer has previously spoken about wanting children, even before she met Cooke, telling Diane Sawyer in 2015: "I definitely want to be a mother." And she wasn't letting go of this idea, telling Glamour in 2016: "I imagine I’ll have children, and then my whole life will just seem complete." From the sounds of it, she couldn't have chosen a better partner to have her first baby with, gushing about him on the podcast Naked with Catt Sadler in 2019. Explaining why she chose to marry him, she said: "I don't know, I started with the basics: 'How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?' "It's just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he's just, he's — you know. He's the greatest person I've ever met, so I feel very honoured to become a Maroney."
