Katie Hopkins was surrounded in controversy once more this week following an appearance on Loose Women. The opiniated Celebrity Big Brother finalist seemed to have initially made a good impression on the popular chat show, but things rapidly took a turn for the worse. Coleen Nolan brought up comments Hopkins had made about her sister Linda last year, where Katie had said that Linda, who had survived breast cancer, had a “fat arm” and “droopy breast”. “Can you imagine someone saying that about your family?” Coleen asked. “I wasn’t the biggest fan of your sister,” Hopkins said in response. “I get a lot of comments every day. I accept those things that people throw at me. “If you put yourself out there on TV, you have to expect that people aren’t always going to like you,” she continued.

The debate continued on the show and as Hopkins came under more and more pressure to justify her comments she added, “I have 400,000 followers on Twitter because some people find me witty and entertaining.” She later snapped at the panel to ‘move on’ before making comments about Nadia Sawalha, whom she branded a bully.
