Lady Gaga agrees to interview with Piers Morgan after he dismissed rape claims

The exchange took place on Twitter.

On Saturday night, controversial journalist Piers Morgan took to Twitter to dismiss claims that Lady Gaga suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.

”No, soldiers returning from battlefields do. Enough of this vain-glorious nonsense.” He said.

”I come from a big military family. It angers me when celebrities start claiming ‘PTSD’ about everything to promote themselves.” He added.

Lady Gaga recently revealed she was suffering from PTSD as a result of being raped at age 19.

Another Twitter user called the male Katie Hopkins out for his offensive comments telling him to acknowledge that illness was because of her being raped.

Piers responded by claiming that she and Madonna have made allegations but that no charges were made.

He also alleged that PTSD is the latest celebrity ‘fashion accessory’.

Lady Gaga then responded to all of Piers’ offensive comments on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon.

“I’ve work w/ our VP Joe Biden on helping educate people about why women don’t report, would love to share it w/ you some time.

“Would also love to talk with you about PTSD, that it’s not just a “military” disorder. There is a mental health youth epidemic.” She said.

Piers replied to this offer

”OK, you’re on. Let’s do an interview about this & you can tell me why I’m wrong to be sceptical.” He said.

In typical Piers fashion, he threw a dig at Gaga about her meat dress, to which she did not take kindly.

Unfortunately, people like Piers Morgan will never change their offensive opinions but we’re proud of Lady Gaga for standing up for what she believes in.
