This is a big deal.

Before Meghan Markle stepped into her role as a royal, she had a lot of accomplishments under her belt.

As well as being a talented and successful actress, she represented international charity organisations and spoke out about gender inequality and profiling influential women. Meghan was also the creator and editor of The Tig (RIP The Tig), which she deleted in April 2017, just before she got engaged to Prince Harry in November of that year.

Since then, Meghan has been busy with her royal duties, and of course taking care of her newborn son, Alfie.

However, it looks like she’s going to step back into the world of writing again as Us Weekly reports that she will take over British Vogue for its September issue.

The September issue is basically be-all-and-end-all in the magazine world. It sets the tone for the upcoming seasons and is seen as the year’s bible.

So, this is kinda huge for the duchess.

According to the publication, as well as editing the issue, Meghan will also write an opinion piece, as well as bring on board a “selection of female change-makers to write their own personal essays.”

Apparently, the magazine will also do a photoshoot in Frogmore Cottage next week for the issue so we may get an inside glimpse into her life with Prince Harry and baby Alfie.

Either way, with Meghan at the helm of the issue, you know it’s going to be good.
