Molly Mae Hague likes being a “loner” and isn’t bothered about having friends

Well, at least she’s honest.

Molly Mae Hague has opened up on her small and very select group of friends, and why she only keeps a few people close to her.

Speaking on the Diary of a CEO podcast, the former Love Island star revealed that she is more focused on her career than maintaining a social life.

She explained on the podcast: “My circle is minuscule.

“I have literally about five people in my circle, and that includes friends.”

She went on to say that while she doesn’t have many people in her social circle, she prefers it this way and enjoys being a “loner.”

“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said.

“I work, I spend time with my boyfriend and I go to bed.

“That is literally my life. I’m not bothered about a social life. It’s never been something I’ve been interested in.”

The PrettyLittleThing creative director went on to say that she has never been the person that enjoys going on big nights out and she’s not that big of a drinker.

“It’s not for me,” she added. “I’d rather just focus on making money, being successful and being happy.”

Molly Mae added that since her appearance on Love Island back in 2019, she has cut ties with a lot of friends, and she’s making no apologies for it.

“It sounds savage but sometimes friends, they just – not cling on, but they don’t add much,” she said.

“I know that sounds a bit savage, but… I’m not that girl from Hitchin any more. I’m not that young girl who was a lifeguard at Hitchin swimming pool.

“That’s not me. I’m living in a different world now and a lot of my friends can’t relate to that.

“I’m a bit of a loner, but I like it.”
