Nick Cannon hit the stage for the finale of America’s Got Talent wearing shoes that apparently cost… wait for it… $2.2 million.
Yes, you are reading that right, and no, you don’t need to go and get your eyes checked… the presenter flaunted the Tom Ford slip-on shoes on the stage and seemed to be absolutely over the moon with his new footwear.
And why wouldn’t he be? The swanky shoes have 14,000 full-cut round white diamonds which have then been set onto white gold with a total carat weight of 340 carats.
He added a designer watch to the ensemble, leaving many viewers trying to figure out the overall price of his outfit.
Beverly Hills jeweller Jason Arasheben, who created the shoes, told Women’s Wear Daily: “When Nick approached me last year, he said he wanted to make history and be so over the top.”
“Not very often do I get a request for the most expensive shoes in the world.”
