Hugh Jackman isn’t just a superhero in the movies, he’s a legend in real life too.
The star, who recently revealed he was being treated for cancer for a second time, was on a tour of his home country Austrailia when he posted a snap of a visit to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
The actor was visiting the centre, which acts to brighten the lives of children isolated or lonely from a terminal illness, when he met X-Men fan Joshua.
Decked out with accessories, Joshua seemed delighted to share the spotlight with his favourite actor.
Moved by the encounter, Jackman posted the following picture to his Instagram account, with the caption:
“Dear Joshua, You’re awesome! I loved meeting you, your sister Mia, and your Mum & Dad. You made my trip home to #Australia all the more special. Love HJ#starlightfoundation #wish #xmen”
