Intriguing.

As two of the most talked about royals in the world, ensuring the safety of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is of great importance to their team of bodyguards.

So much so, that they take important measures to make sure they’re never even mentioning the newlyweds’ names to keep things under lock and key.

According to The Sun, the duo’s security team refer to them by a number of names, which keep changing in order to ensure their protection. The choice of names is actually quite clever and all inspired by the royal’s title, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The pair is known as “DS” by their team for short but, they’re also addressed as “David Stevens” or “Davina Scott” and like names using the same initials. A royal source spoke to the Daily Star revealing that it’s “far too risky” to use the pair’s real names in case the information fell into the wrong hands.

Likewise, Kate and Wills go by similar “code names” to ensure their protection and keep them safe. Using their title, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the pair is referred to as “Danny Collins”, “Daphne Clark” and “DC” for short.

Yesterday, the Duke of Sussex turned 34-years-old however, his birthday was met by some harsh words from Meghan’s sister, Samantha. You can read all here.
