Prince George has a nickname for himself and it’s actually so cute

Olivia Hayes

This is the Monday morning cuteness that we need.

We’ve heard a few royal nicknames before. We know that Prince Philip calls his wife Cabbage, which is perfectly sweet.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte call Prince Charles “Grandpa Wales”. We also found out recently that Prince William used to call the Queen “Gary”.

According to the Daily Mail, Prince George and his sister Princess Charlotte were spending time with their grandmother Carole Middleton this weekend when George went over to a stranger who had a dog.

The 5-year-old went to pet the dog and he reportedly said, “I’m called Archie.”

HOW adorable?

We don’t know whether George just calls himself that, or his friends or family call him that, but it’s really cute either way.

Like we said above, the royal family ALL seem to have nicknames for each other.

Princess Charlotte and Prince George call their great-grandmother “Gan Gan”, which is ADORABLE.

And interestingly, Prince Charles has a sweet nickname for his daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle.

Prince Charles often calls Meghan “Tungsten”, which means he thinks she’s “tough and unbending” like the strong metal.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have pet names for each other too,  often calling each other “babe” and “darling”.
