3 new Netflix additions you can cosy up with for October

Cassie Stokes

Forget Netflix and Chill, this season it’s all about Netflix and warm.

No chilling will be happening these next few months, so get your fluffy clothes on and get cosy.

I love colder weather because you have all the excuses in the world to stay in, watch TV and cuddle up by the fire. My main investments in the winter time include fluffy blankets, hot water bottles, warm socks, massive jumpers and fire logs.

You can often search for hours on TV to try find the perfect movie to watch, but let’s be honest, Netflix is where you can rely on a good flick even if it’s one you’ve seen a few times before. For example, I have watched How to Lose a Guy in 10 days about 23 thousand times and I’m still not sick of it.

Netflix have a decent selection of films and TV shows coming over the next few weeks. Some will get you in the mood for Halloween and some will get you in the mood for, dare I say it…. Christmas!

Here are three that we’re looking forward to the most.

Hubie Halloween

Starring Adam Sandler and Maya Rudolph, this one is a ridiculous Halloween flick – but one that you’ll love.

If, like me, you don’t mind Adam Sandler then stick this on because it will give you a good laugh. Maya Rudolph is always hilarious in everything she does too, so even if you don’t like him, she will save this one for you.

Holidate

Starring Emma Roberts, Holidate looks like it’s going to be a very easy watch. Ideal hangover fodder, so if you’ve had a few too many with dinner and are just looking for some easy viewing check this one out on October 28.

The Haunting of Bly Manor

Now, I’m not one for enjoying being scared, but it’s October, so why not?

The Haunting of Bly Manor just landed on Netflix today (October 9), so if you were a fan of The Haunting of Hill House that came before it (who wasn’t?), then this is the show for you.

Just don’t blame me if you can’t sleep tonight, yeah?
