“Thank u, next…”

Be prepared to listen to nothing else for a straight week because Ariana Grande just dropped a brand new single and it is fire.

Yes, the singer released a brand new song last night all about her most noted breakups just before the latest season of Saturday Night Live aired.

The single titled Thank u, next (QUEEN!) is Ariana’s way of thanking her ex-boyfriends for all the things they’ve taught her.

The song focuses on four ex-boyfriends in particular; Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Mac Miller and Pete Davidson.

“Thought I’d end up with Sean,” Ariana says in the song.

“But he wasn’t a match.

“Wrote some songs about Ricky,

“Now I listen and laugh.

“Even almost got married,

“And for Pete, I’m so thankful

“Wish I could say, ‘Thank you’ to Malcolm

“’Cause he was an angel.”

Ariana says that they each taught her love, patience and pain and thanks them all individually in the song that has already amassed well over one million streams on YouTube alone.

Around a half hour after Ariana released the breakup anthem, Pete addressed their split during his SNL appearance.

“I know some of you are curious about the breakup, but the truth is, it is nobody’s business and sometimes things just don’t work out, and that’s OK.

“She’s a wonderful, strong person, and I genuinely wish her all of the happiness in the world.”

Many fans might have expected Ariana to throw shade at Pete in the new song after she tweeted about the comedian constantly referring the breakup during interviews, saying:

“For somebody who claims to hate relevancy, you sure love clinging to it, huh?”

Well, it seems that Ari is over it now and has nothing but ‘Thanks’ to say.
