Craig David is tipped to feature on Love Island this weekend

Paul Moore

Wonder if he’s staying for 7 Days….

Truth be told, the puns and similarities are right there in front of us.

Flirting, shifting, riding.

Craig David’s magnum opus 7 Days has it all but we’re going to rise above it and go for his debut track Fill Me In.

Allow us to elaborate because by taking some artistic licence with the lyrics, the track basically charts the rise and fall (heyooo!) of a Love Island relationship.

“I was checking this girl next door
When her partner went out
She phoned said, “hey boy, come on right around”
So I knock at the door
You was standin’ with a bottle of red wine, ready to pour
Dressed in long black satin and lace to the floor
So I went in, then we sat down start kissing, caressing
Told me about jacuzzi, sounded interesting
So we jumped right in
All calls diverted to answer phone
Please leave a message after the tone
I mean me and her partner were kind of cool
But they ran a fine line between me and you
We were just doing things young people in love do
Partners tryna find out what we were up to”

See, those lyrics could literally describe every romance that turned to shit in the villa.

Anyway, enough Craaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig David lyrics for now because the R&B artist is heavily rumoured to be DJIng on the ITV2 show on Sunday night.

Why? Well, the producers are trying to defuse a tense week which saw re-coupling and those dramatic Casa Amor twists.

Sadly, it appears that Craig David will only be appearing in one episode and won’t be sticking around after. Guess he’s walking away, eh?

No worries, you can always get a reeeeeeewind (when the crowd say Bo Selecta) and watch the episode again.

Various tabloids have already confirmed that sources for the show have confirmed David’s appearance and ITV’s flagship breakfast show, Good Morning Britain, were even discussing his arrival on their most recent show.

Truth be told, we’d be all in favour of a dramatic twist that saw the Ivor Novello Award winner stay in the villa.

After all, who wouldn’t want to shift this face?

Craig David

Here’s what Good Morning Britain had to say on David’s potential arrival:
