Harry Potter star Devon Murray is being sued by his former agent.
Neil Brooks, Devon’s former agent, is taking legal action against him, claiming that ‘agreed fees and interest’ amounting to €286,000 were never paid.
According to The Mirror, Devon’s parents are also being sued because he was a minor at the time of the contract with Brooks.
However, the Murray family are believed to be counter-suing the company for €98,000 which they say they paid Brook’s firm, Neil Brooks Management.
Brooks has said that an increase in his fees was agreed for the third and fourth Harry Potter films, but he maintains that this money never materialised.
The case was brought before the High Court in Dublin today, where the solicitor who previously spoke on behalf of the Murrays applied for permission to stop representing them.
Justice Seamus Noonan adjourned the case until tomorrow.
