Enough is enough… the sun is shining, we need to go outside.
When Netflix brought in the autoplay feature we all rejoiced. It turns out, having a series run straight through is having a major impact on our lives.
Little things like showering and leaving our apartments have proved quite difficult. And then, there’s the question of shame that Netflix asks every few hours “Are you still watching?”…
YES WE’RE STILL WATCHING… BACK OFF.
There is a way to turn the feature off, and we think it’s time to share it. Log in to Netflix as normal and head to “Your Account” at the top right of the page, under the “My Profile” section click “Playback Settings”.
From there you can uncheck the “Play Next Episode Automatically”… BE WARNED: This will turn off the feature for any device you have Netflix on.
Big move we know, but maybe it’s time to say goodbye to bingeing, maybe it’s time we went outside.
