That kiss, eh?
This summer will be remembered as the time of the heatwave, the time Harry and Meghan visited Michael D at the Áras and the time that Georgia and new Jack’s kiss on Love Island kept us up at night.
The kiss, saw new Jack go for the cheek and Georgia go to kiss him on the lips (twice) and was the catalyst for a sh*tstorm of drama on the show, which up until this point in the series had kind of been in short supply.
It lasted mere seconds but caused Georgia and Laura (and somehow Ellie) to fall out, Laura and new Jack to break up and Georgia to repeat the word ‘loyal’ to anyone who would listen.
Now footage shared by a Love Island fan account is making us question whether what we saw with our own eyes was what actually went down.

It looks like the producers may have slipped up by showing Megan and Wes’s kiss in the background of the shot, making it look as though the kiss was filmed more than once.
We can’t be sure, but that certainly looks sketchy.
We know that as a reality show, Love Island isn’t going to be 100 per cent real – which is pretty much what ITV said in response to accusations that the show is staged.
“The opinions they have and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves,” ITV said in a statement.
“Love Island is a combination of reality and produced elements.
“Any produced elements are designed to allow viewers to understand what the Islanders are feeling and to help move narrative threads on.”
