Season two lands on December 8.

Netflix have released another preview for the second season of their critically acclaimed show, The Crown.

The popular royal drama, which details the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, is set to return to the small screen on Friday December 8.

The streaming service released another sneak peek from season two on Tuesday to get fans a bit more pumped for its return.

And, as you would expect, it looks like it’s going to be absolutely incredible – with plenty of drama in store.

The minute and thirteen second long clip explores a bit of the relationship between Princess Margaret and her new love interest, photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones.

The character, played by Matthew Goode, was first introduced in one of the teaser trailers earlier this year – and will be a “breath of fresh air” for Margaret, according to actress Vanessa Kirby.

She said:

“This season is about finding herself, who she really is. Margaret was very much feeling anti her own establishment.

“She finds herself through this wonderful new man, who she crashes into. They have this brilliant dynamic.

“Suddenly, there is this bohemian, creative, mercurial, enigmatic, charming, sexy stranger.

“For her, it’s like this huge breath of fresh air.”

Of the couple, Matthew Goode added:

“He was an exciting person for her to be around, rinding around a motor bike was not something she’d done before.

“I think it freed her up.”
