WHY?
*Spoilers ahead*
Grey’s Anatomy fans have suffered many losses over the years.
In fact, most of us are still shook from losing April at the end of Season 14.
And now it looks like we’re set to lose someone else – if you believe fan theories (which I usually do!)
Richard Webber has been knocking around since season one, getting caught up in a bit of drama here and there.
There was that affair, that love child and that unfortunate death.
Richard has received a happy ending in the show, marrying Catherine (cuties) – but is he next to die?
One Reddit user has been speculating about who will go in the next season:
“Bailey’s death would affect both Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19, while Richard hasn’t had any particularly interesting storylines lately.”
In fairness, Richard is a much-less important character.
However, in an interview back in 2016, James Pickens Jr (who plays Richard) seemed to have no intention of leaving the show.
“It’s been such a blast and such a blessing to be part of something that’s become iconic. You can’t help looking forward to coming in every day.”
“That’s what makes good TV now and keeps the fans coming back and watching, so to be a part of that – I enjoy coming back every day for that, and I enjoy the adventures, and now this journey is going to continue.”
I guess only time will tell…
