Selling Sunset made its comeback on Wednesday night and oh, the drama.
At the centre of it all was the trouble brewing between Christine Quinn and new cast member Emma Hernan.
At the beginning of the new season, Christine is pregnant and Jason Oppenheim suggests she takes a bit of time off. He then asks newbie Emma, who has experience working in real estate with The Oppenheim group, to fill in.
It’s soon revealed that Emma and Christine have history – and it is complicated, to say the least.
Both realtors dated the same man in the past, at the same time, and both say he proposed to them.
Christine claims she caught her ex coming out of a gym holding hands with Emma. In classic Christine fashion, she confronted them immediately, blocked Emma from leaving the gym carpark in her car, and banged on her windows.
Emma, however, claims she had no idea she was the other woman.
“I found out about Christine the day that I met her,” Emma explains. “It was not pleasant. I was leaving the gym with who I thought was my boyfriend and she pulled up with her friend and was like ‘Who the f*ck is this?’ and started screaming ‘This is my boyfriend.'”
The identity of this man has yet to be revealed but Christine says he got engaged to Emma two months after the incident.
When asked about the history, Christine said: “I know this happened years and years ago, but this is all coming back to life now.”
To add more fuel to the fire, the man then dated another cast member, Heather Rae Young, after things with Emma fizzled out.
The drama is a lot to keep up with, and fans were left feeling a little confused as they tried to digest it all and figure out who was telling the truth.

Others suggested the women shouldn’t fight as neither of them are the problem.
“If I was Emma starting in the office. One of the first things I’d do is talk to Christine and be like “wow we both had a lucky escape he was a piece of shit” and move the f*ck on,” one person said.
