Let’s face it, the Eurovision Song Contest is a little mad. Countries really show off their wacky side in a bid to win the annual title and host the contest in their country the following year.
Like, we even sent a puppet shouting “Ireland 12 points” to compete for us one year, like sorry WOT?
So, if WE find it bizarre and we actually live in Europe having been reared with this yearly spectacle, can you just imagine what it must be like to someone who’s from America, someone like Will Ferrell who went to watch it in Portugal this year with reports that he has actually tuned in since 1999 in awe and confusion, understandably.
And now, it looks like there was a reasoning behind Will being there this year… because Deadline has revealed that he is set to star in a parody film about the Eurovision and we’re totally buzzing. We are getting Blades Of Glory vibes alllll over again.
