A chicken wing festival is coming to Dublin and OMG yes, delish

Olivia Hayes

Absolutely delightful.

If you’re a lover of chicken wing – and if not, you definitely haven’t tried them because they are totally delish – then you need to get yourself down to this lovely little chicken wing festival.

The festival is taking place in Bray and it sounds pretty delightful altogether – full of games, prizes, and of course an abundance of wings.

“Wings Food Fest is back and we have a superb line-up of wingtastic activities for you to enjoy over the weekend of July 21 & 22 – daily from 10 am until 6 pm,” its website reads.

“To cater for our wing connoisseurs we have Wing Pop up shops who will be serving up some of the mightiest, hottest, finger-lickin’ chicken wings on the east coast –  you will even get a chance to spin yourself some free wings at our ‘Spin a Wing’ wheel.

“We also have a wide variety of wings in our street food market and for our competitive wing lovers, you will have a chance to eat the hottest wings going and to show us how many wings you can eat in 3 minutes just register here.”

Up for the challenge? As much as we love some hot sauce on our wings, we don’t think we’d get very far in the competition.

However, the Wing Off is back…

“Our Bray Wing Off is back with a public vote deciding who enters our final on Sunday 22nd so be sure to nominate your favourite when polling opens. Keep a look out for announcements on social media.”
