A huge gin fair is coming back to Dublin and we’ll cheers to that

Keeley Ryan

Time to for a ginvestigation.

There’s not much in the world that a gin & tonic can’t set right.

Which is why we were over the moon when we heard that one of our favourite gin-inspired events from last summer is on the way back – and just in time for the lune Bank Holiday weekend.

Following the success of last year’s event, House have announced the return of the Great Summer Gin Fair.

And to make things even better, the celebration will last two days this time around.

There will be more than 80 varieties of gin from all across the world, with a number of bespoke gin pop-ups – including Beefeater’s notorious Gin Lane, as well as the magical Monkey 47 experience.

The “most peculiar and wondrous gin emporium” even has their own gin-currency on site: Junipers.

Each measure of Gin & Tonic would cost you 7J (€7).

Don’t worry, though – there’s a bureau de change on site.

The Great Summer Gin Fair will take place over the June Bank Holiday weekend, on June 2 and 3.

There’s another small change from last year: you’ll need to snap up a ticket if you want to head along.
